Identity work through guided exploration
with Jen Vincent. The power of story helped me love myself. From feelings of not fitting in and not being enough to embracing my Latinx heritage, writing from a place of vulnerability and authenticity healed my heart. I believe everyone has a story to tell and it's my mission to ensure Story Exploratory is a brave space that not only sees people but welcomes them into a community that celebrates their awesomeness and empowers their spirit.
Identity work is an act of self love. Radical self love empowers people young and the young-at-heart to be able to celebrate others, recognize injustice, and take action. It's up to us to decolonize our brains and combat racism, and this is how we do it. Let me be your guide! +Resume |
For Teachers
Amidst racial tension during a global pandemic with immense pressure coming from all directions, teachers show up - in person and/or virtually - and hold space for students. It's a lot. My first For Teachers workshop is The Year of You. I invite you to let me hold space for YOU so you can feel held and free and continue to be as awesome as you are. We'll take care of ourselves in order to teach our students to be anti-bias and anti-racist readers and writers and critical thinkers. |
Coaching
Ready to dive deeper? I break writing down into manageable steps and offer you personalized strategies for living the life of a writer. We discuss mindset, habits, resources, navigate the writing process, and help you get to know yourself as a writer. Setting your story free is an act of revolution! |
Schools and Organizations
Committed to being anti-racist and anti-bias as a school or organization? I use writing to engage teams in identity work, look critically at policies and practices as a system, align work with core social justice standards, co-create brave spaces, and decolonize the educational system. |
